Email Broadcasts & Templates

Sometimes you need to reach members outside the community. Outpost's email system lets you send beautifully formatted broadcasts to your entire community or targeted groups.

Sending a Broadcast

From Admin → Email, you can compose and send emails:

  1. Choose recipients:

    • All members — Reach everyone in the community
    • Category members — Target members interested in a specific category
  2. Compose your email:

    • Set a compelling subject line
    • Write the body in HTML with template variable support
    • Preview the email before sending
  3. Test first:

    • Send a test email to yourself before blasting the full list
    • Verify formatting, links, and content
  4. Send it:

    • The broadcast is delivered to all recipients
    • Success and failure counts are tracked
